The BVI Film Commission
The BVI Film Commission is BVI’s premier organisation for harnessing and investing in local talent in film making and technical productions. They are also instrumental in bridging the gap between incoming producers and film makers and locally trained talent to fulfil on-set roles. The VIconic Training Academy provides ample training in topics that make participants suitable for recommendation for work on international projects and on for work on paid sets.

The Ministry of Education and Culture reviews and approves programmes that are suitable for students to earn community service hours. While The VIconic Training Academy operates more like an apprenticeship programme, students can earn several community service hours for projects directly related to staging the event: not theory portions.
